There a was a nice little story about the Mayor's plans to fix up Rose Park in Sciotoville, yesterday. We're sure she will dip into that big pile of grant funds she has brought into the City's coffers to do it. (Actually she's using CIP funds for it. Has City Council passed those yet? Just asking.)
By the way, does anyone know what gang sign Mr. Noel is flashing there?
Ahhh Yes! That is a gang sign! Richie the Rug is flashing an "old school" hand sign....its territorial! Stands for Cave People of the East Side. (Not to be confused with cave people of the east end...that's Austin Leedom and Wayne Nichols group!)

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see our mayor taking the time to do something this nice for the area. It's a shame she can't take the time to attend the budget meetings though.
Looking at the promises she made in Lexington I wonder if anyone in Sciotoville is holding their breath.
Anyone know how her $2,000,000 suit against the city is going?
I get a kick out of how she transports her "podium" with her. Makes her appear very important (even though it doesn't look like there was much of a turn out for this event).

ReplyDeleteMaybe someone should get her a yellow ribbon to wear with the words, "Mayor of Portsmouth" on it. I thought that was once the proper attire for Mayor. A lot easier to transport then the porta podiumm,too.

You know, I think that IS a music stand...what do you know? She even messed that up.
ReplyDeleteWell I too thought it looked like a music stand, but we know Madam Jane is way to classy to use an ordinary music stand as a podium. Upon further investigation I have discovered that it is actually a very rare antique porta podium used by Jane's look-a-like Miss Jane Hathaway. She used the porta podium while tutoring Jethroe Bodine in arithmatic and grammar. Miss Hathaway gifted Miss Murray with the podium when Miss Murray announced her decision to move back to the hills to educate us poor folk. Miss Murray became aquainted with Miss H. several years ago during Madam Murray's "Actress Period".
