When you put them ALL together with pictures....its SAD who goes and yells at council EVERY MEETING! No wonder some of the better citizens won't run for council! At least we have the "FAB 4" down there holding the line against MISS MANAGEMENT!
Just an observation from someone who watches but no longer lives there. The CAVE people and the present Mayor, all seem to have personal agendas. They all appear to be disgrunted on personal levels not on the level of someone who really wants to improve conditions. When the one CAVE person constantly complains about the "good old buoys", I have to wonder....how long have each of the council people been in there, were they not each elected by the majority of the voters? They haven't been the same people for years and years have they....don't some go out and new ones come in on a fairly regular basis? I just hope the rest of the community starts paying attention and educating themselves before they vote again. They need to at least occasionally go to a council meeting and see who is who and keep abreast of how each one votes and takes care of their particular district and who is looking at the big picture and what is best for Portsmouth over all.
you just elevated my friend A Citizen, dumb ashes. You bouys, keep scrambling, to your failed call to life. Dahler will have a box for your regardless.
We need them FEMA trailers for all city offices and employees. Huricane Jane has been ripping through our city hall for months. Climatologist are hoping the system will finally move on at the beginning of November.
The Divine Ms.M had an offer for that site from a local hotel owner for new building, and she turned him down cold. Now, she is saying it's not safe for the Police Dept. It's not safe for ANYONE to be in there. We know the mold is in the offices used by the municipal judges, too. "Bleach and water"??? Come on, the whole building is infested and it'll take more than it's worth to fix it. It's a good thing they have that wireless system -- there will be no place for the wires to go soon! If things continue at this pace, SSU will get one of Portsmouth's most valuable pieces of property for a parking lot! How sad!
What happened to the Basham recall attempt? Lots of talk for a while, then crickets and tumbleweeds.
