We would like to congratulate all of the winners in yesterday's election. All of them, especially Ms. Murray, had impressive victories, and we sincerely wish them all the success in the world.
The Mayor-elect and the new City Councilmen certainly have their work cut out for them.
We wish them nothing but success.
Don't go away, p-town. We'll need you more than ever now.
ReplyDeletePTown we hope you continue to print the truth and keep a close high on Jane as she takes over our city. We are understandably worried for the fouture of this city. I have heard at least six different families say that they plan to leave Portsmouth as a direct result of Murray and Johnson's election. God Bless you Mayor Kalb we still believe in you. You have accomplished much in your years in office. Good luck to you from the last sane citizens in PTOWN.
ReplyDeleteI am sad about this. Do the people of Portsmouth honestly think things were so bad with Kalb that they voted this woman in? I wish Kalb would have won. Even if you didn't like him personally, he did a heck of a lot better job than she will do. I am VERY concerned about our city in the hands of Murray and Johnson!
ReplyDeleteNow the shoe is on the other foot. Ms. Murray should be scrutinized closely and reminded of each and every promise she made, and each and every criticism she doled out. Those impossibly high standards she set for everyone else, must now be demanded of her.
ReplyDeleteWAA WAA WAA...buncha crybabies.....
ReplyDeleteThe CAVE people have spoken and their voices have been heard.. They are the winners....you are now the whinners....
For those unwilling to believe this, take my word for it, Jane Murray is capable and WILL execute a great job as mayor. The town of Portsmouth has been in desperate need of help for a long time coming, and every citizen should see it as an asset that Jane Murray would even contemplate trying to restore such a beggared town. Furthermore, if one's only grievance of Jane Murray is that she tired to build a museum, something that where I live is seen as a place to educate and take pride in the past, then maybe you should take a look at your own cultural depth. Murray can only open the door of opportunities, but the responsibity of walking passed the threshold falls onto the shoulders of individuals.
ReplyDeleteMy, how condescending you are! You apparently think a great deal of yourself. But tell me, why would we take your word for it when you could read all that is here and think the only grievance with Murray is that she tried to build a museum? And in case you aren't aware, we have enough "cultural depth" to have a museum, and a very good one at that.
ReplyDeleteHow long before the CAVE people turn on her?
